Thursdays, January 5-February 16, 1:00pm-3:30pm, Zoom. Living Well with Chronic Pain is a 6-week workshop that teaches practical skills for living a happy, healthy life while managing chronic pain. Chronic Pain Self-Management can help you develop the skills needed to take control of your pain and live a happier and healthier life. Classes meet the same day weekly for six-sessions. This interactive workshop helps people who have chronic pain learn how to take control.
You will learn about techniques to deal with problems such as frustration, fatigue, isolation, poor sleep, appropriate use of exercise, appropriate use of medication, effective communication, how to evaluate new treatments, and nutrition. This interactive workshop meets for two and a half hours, once a week, for six weeks. This workshop is for adults, ages 18 and older.
